Designer Profile – Daniel Lamm

After receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Navy and upon graduating from the College of Agriculture and Life Science at North Carolina State University, Daniel began his career as a golf course superintendent. He gained a broad range of experience managing construction projects while using his horticultural knowledge to enhance their surroundings.

Daniel believes in building relationships with clients, which will continue for many years and over multiple projects. His tenure in country club management has provided him with years of experience in client relations and implementing ideas from committees and members alike. Daniel has used this experience to capture the thoughts and ideas of our clients and create magnificent designs.

His portfolio over the eight years of designing includes everything from “old town” brownstone patios to innovative landscapes for estate renovations. Daniels designs take into account first and foremost the clients needs and concerns, along with a thorough site analysis and observation of architectural details he begins to draft a client specific plan.

Daniel was attracted to Grigg Design because of their dominance and leadership in the marketplace. He enjoys designing and building the many different styles of landscapes
in the Northern Virginia area.
